Enrolment process
Year 7 enrolment
Enrolments for year 7 are initiated through the student’s current primary school during the second half of year 6. If your child attends a non-government school or is outside the designated feeder schools, please contact us to request an enrolment pack or visit the school to receive further assistance and information.
Year 9 to 12 enrolment
Enrolments for students entering years 9 to 12 are managed directly by Penola High School. Families are required to attend an enrolment meeting. This helps the school gather necessary information and ensure the educational program is tailored to meet your child’s needs.
Visit the school enrolment section on the department’s website for more information.
Enrolment guidelines
Enrolment at Penola High School follows the policies of the Department for Education (DfE), particularly those for state-zoned schools. Our catchment area includes Penola, Nangwarry, Kalangadoo, and Coonawarra.
Students living outside a 5km radius within our zone may be eligible for school bus services. For more details about this service, please contact us.
