Languages

French serves as our chosen language of study, enriching all students with a comprehensive cultural and linguistic education. Each class is allocated a dedicated 60-minute lesson weekly, which is meticulously structured to facilitate students in acquiring conversational skills in French and deepening their appreciation for France’s rich cultural tapestry.

The French program includes an array of immersive activities:

  • Exploration of French Art, Dance, and Music, offering students a sensory journey through France’s celebrated artistic heritage.
  • Festive Celebrations of French Events, such as Bastille Day, where students can experience and partake in French traditions and history.
  • The production of our very own French Show (Spectacle Français), an event that showcases the students’ linguistic abilities and cultural knowledge through performance.

The benefits of learning a language extend far beyond the classroom:

  • It broadens students’ cultural perspectives, fostering a global outlook and an appreciation for diversity.
  • It opens up future career pathways, providing a competitive edge in the increasingly global job market.
  • It promotes social cohesion and cross-cultural understanding, equipping students with the empathy and skills necessary to navigate a multicultural world.
