Governing council
Our Governing Council
Our school is guided by a dedicated Governing Council that works in partnership with the Principal to shape and oversee the school’s vision and strategic direction.
The council meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 PM, excluding school holidays.
The council’s responsibilities include:

Developing and approving local school policies

Approving and reviewing the school budget

Monitoring and evaluating the Site Improvement Plan

Engaging with the school community to ensure their views are considered and represented

Committees Reporting to the Governing Council
The following committees support the work of the Governing Council by providing recommendations and reports in their areas of focus:

Finance Advisory Committee – Oversees financial planning, budgeting, and expenditure

Education and Curriculum Committee – Focuses on teaching, learning, and curriculum development

Facilities Committee – Advises on the maintenance, improvement, and development of school facilities

Get Involved
Parents, students, staff, and community members are all welcome to participate in our Governing Council or its sub-committees. Your voice helps shape the future of our school.
Council elections are held each February. Nominations can be made at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), or you can collect a nomination form from the front office.
